The Sex Offender Program encompasses various components for the treatment of individuals involved in sexual offenses. It begins with a Diagnostic Evaluation, where a therapist conducts a face-to-face assessment to generate a comprehensive written evaluation. This evaluation includes diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and access to suitable services based on the individual’s needs.
Upon entry to the program and periodically thereafter, a Risk Assessment is conducted to assess treatment progress and evaluate the risk of re-offending (recidivism).
Individual and Group Therapy sessions are provided twice a week for 60 minutes each. These sessions aim to address personal issues and concerns that may not be suitable for group settings.
To ensure a successful transition back into the community and reduce the likelihood of relapse, a Relapse Prevention/Aftercare plan is developed before program completion. This plan includes strategies to prevent relapse and support the individual’s reintegration into society, utilizing coping skills acquired during treatment.
Overall, the Sex Offender Program employs a comprehensive approach to sex offender treatment, comprising diagnostic evaluation, risk assessment, therapy, and relapse prevention to promote rehabilitation and community reintegration.
All aspects of the sex offender treatment program will be carefully organized and overseen by a qualified Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP), ensuring comprehensive and professional supervision throughout the entire treatment process.
