I believe that humankind is created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27) and that God has positioned humanity in a place of distinction in the created order (Psalms 8:6-7). I strive to treat all of the children and families whom who I am privileged to serve with dignity and respect. I make every effort to protect my clients’ rights and to ensure their privacy and confidentiality.
I believe that family and marriage are institutions uniquely endorsed by God (Gen. 2:24). I acknowledge that the institution of the family is the first institution ordained by God, and we therefore strive to protect families and to strengthen their integrity.
I believe that we are exhorted to do our best in all our efforts in order to bring glory to God (1 Cor. 10:13). I strive for excellence in the services I provide.
I acknowledge that sin has separated all of humanity from God (Rom. 3:23). I strive to provide the ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18) to those in need of restored relationships within their families and with God. I also acknowledge there is sin in our own lives and we strive to provide ministry without passing moral judgment (Matt. 7:1-5, Matt. 18:21-22, John 8:3-7). I believe an abundant life and forgiveness of sin are available only from the gift of grace through Christ (John 3:16, John 10:10).
I believe that God has called us to minister to families and children as the truest expression of our religion (James 1: 27) and I strive to do so in a spirit of love and humility (Micah 6:8). I believe that ministering to hurting children and families is commanded in the teachings of Christ (Matt. 25:40) and I strive to accomplish this ministry out of a sense of glad obedience to Jesus.
I affirm the three great virtues of faith, hope and love (1 Cor. 13:13), and I strive to be influenced by these three great virtues in all that we do.
